Music Grade Exams

Trinity offer a range of grade examinations  across nine levels from Initial to Grade 8. These examinations assess performance and technical skills at increasing levels of ability and complexity. Initial exams serve as an intoduction for students to the examination environment.     

A.C.T.A's students have also consistently achieved the highest marks in the Northern Region and in NZ in the Trinity College Singing Syllabus. Highly respected vocal tutor, Doreen Donnell, a Fellow of Trinity College of London and student of the highly acclaimed vocal tutor Dame Sister Mary Leo, is well known for her considerable experience, knowledge and successes both herself and with students in vocal training. 

Students are examined on musical exercises, performance pieces and technical knowledge.

Fees
Exam class fees are based on the number of students in the class, and the duration time of the lesson. Exam Registration Fees (payable to Trinity Guildhall) apply and can be found on their website www.trinitycollege.co.uk
