THE PERFORMANCE TROUPE

If you're an experienced musical theatre student aged 16 years and over you can attend The Performance Troupe without being enrolled in ACTA's mainstream class structure.

The Performance Troupe rehearse each week on Monday from 6.30pm - 8pm at the ACTA Studios, 251 Hinemoa St, Birkenhead.

The Performance Troupe uses a fast-paced, rehearsal structure where students rehearse popular musical theatre repertoire. The rehearsals will equip students to cope in a professional rehearsal environment. Therefore, students in The Performance Troupe are required to have had pre-existing experience and/or tuition. In contrast to this, the senior level class at ACTA is an instructional environment that covers all three art-forms: drama, singing and dance with a focus on learning and improving techniques.

The Performance Troupe is operated in association with Encore Productions Ltd. Members of The Performance Troupe will be eligible for employment opportunities on professional corporate contracts secured by Encore Productions throughout the year.

The fees for The Performance Troupe are $150.00 per term.
